You aren’t perfect, but no one is, why is it so hard to accept yourself as you are, just like you would any other loved one? Your standards are so much higher for yourself than they are for anyone else in your life.
This isn’t self-love for the touchy-feely sake of pumping up your ego and making you feel like you don’t need to grow. You do, as long as you are breathing. I do know that you will never take your rightful place in this world, and in God’s plan for you, until you not only accept yourself but embrace yourself, flaws and all.
Divas are complicated women. You are perfectly seasoned by life to be kind, compassionate, strong, and fierce. You are the only person that has all the perfect ingredients to make an impact in your world, but you shouldn’t go it alone. Self-doubt is your greatest enemy, that is why we need God, and why we need each other.
